I am a busy mum of three beautiful children. Each have their strengths, their weaknesses (the apples haven’t fallen far from the tree there) and quirky personalities.
My parenting journey so far has been raw, challenging and the most rewarding years of my life and I would not change a thing.
I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with some truly inspiration women whom I have learnt so much from over the last few years, particularly surrounding the importance of play based learning in early childhood.
I am truly so excited to have this platform to share what I have learnt with you!
Whether you are a mum to be, newbie or caregiver of 6 little glitter covered delights, I hope you may be inspired on your parenting journey ❤

So the other day, I was wondering what type of activity to set up for Miss 2 before her nap. We didn’t have much time before her routine nap time so I was needing something quick to set up and engaging enough to keep her interested with her shorter attention span after being up since… Continue reading Colour Matching Popstick Posting Toddler Fun
It has long been known that reading to our children offers so much to their cognitive development, speech and language skills and creativity. Truth be told, I am a little embarrassed as to how long it has taken me to write this post! It has been sitting on the back burner for close to six months now. We have even since replicated this play activity a few times and each time I think to myself, I really do… Continue reading Frozen Fuzzy Spheres
One of our favourite authors is Julia Donaldson. Christmas 2016 bought our now long time favourite ‘Stickman’ into our little library as an introduction to one of our cherished English authors. With a poetic flow, the words almost dance with rhyme and repetition – two very attractive features for young children. When choosing a book… Continue reading Story Tray – One Ted Falls Out of Bed
I am always on the look out for yummy, healthy lunchbox goodies that the kids will love. I love the idea of preparing and cooking our own foods. I have a little saying when choosing foods for my family. “Farm, not factory.” I feel that encouraging our children to consider where their food comes from… Continue reading Healthy Lunchbox Recipes

Since learning about the importance of choosing toys that encourage growth rather than just entertain, I have been in love with wooden toys. A wooden toy doesn’t simply just sit on the shelf. A child doesn’t just sit back and watch them. Wooden toys feed a child’s curiosity, fire up their imagination and engage a… Continue reading How to Make DIY Coloured Wooden Peg Dolls in Cups
